The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery (OMS) is a surgical specialty that diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and defects of the facial and oral region, specifically the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face.  Naval Hospital Beaufort OMS provides a full scope of services to our active duty personnel including:  wisdom teeth, facial pain, misaligned jaws, tumors and cysts, facial cosmetic surgery, cleft and craniofacial deformities, facial reconstruction, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, sleep apnea treatment, TMJ solutions, and facial trauma call. Sedation and general anesthesia are available for all procedures.
